Takeover 25

•NXT Tag Team Championship (ladder match)
Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs The Street Profits vs The Undisputed Era vs The Forgotten Songs
Most likely the opener & Tone setter for the  PPV.
If fish and o’Riley don’t win here then it’s wide open. Expect for the forgotten sons (new era DOA)
•North American championship
Velveteen Dream (c)  vs. Tyler Breeze
I love breeze, however his spot here seems conspicuous.
Not sure what the set up is, I doubt it Involves the title.
•Matt Riddle vs Roderick Strong
This is match of the night for me. My two favorite guys on the roster not named Cole.
Riddle is a guy who doesn’t need wins or losses.         Roddy is a guy that does. Don’t be surprised if you see Roddy start working baby face towards the end of this match. Big Win here for strong
•Women’s championship
Shayna Baszler (c) vs Io Shirai
Shayna seems like an immovable object right now. The women’s division doesn’t have much to offer her in believable opponents
I Don’t see Shirai being the one to take her down.
NXT Women’s division took a blow with losing Lacey and Nikki. I would like to see a shakeup here not named Candace . DQ finish here
•NXT Championship
Johnny Gargano (c) vs Adam Cole
It feels like it’s Coles time to shine.
Ciampa getting hurt really diminished Garganos win and reign.
I see Cole standing tall with the tag champs by his side.
While Roddy comes off a huge win yet no gold to show for it. This which leads to him and Cole the at the summerslam takeover .

Cenas 17th reign and who could possible end it!

Who's is going to be the man to Dethrone John Cena when he wins his record setting  #17th Championship?

A huge question looming over the wrestling world is, when and where will John Cena win the elusive 17th title and take down Ric Flairs record?

The better question to me is, who's going to be the guy to pin his shoulders to mat and possibly be the guy to send Cena off into the official part time, only show up for Big match/ PPV sunset?
Below are some of the Top roster guys I feel might be the man get the biggest win since Hogan over Andre.

Roman Reigns: The clear cut answer. He's their guy, like it or not. Million dollar look, not just for the ring, I believe they see a monster on the big screen as well. No other reason needed.

Seth Rollins: Arguably the best young in-ring Performer. We already have saw the rocket they strapped to his back prior to the injury. He kept his head above water while trying to become a monster babyface the last couple years, they have him right where they want him to reignite that rocket.

Kevin Owens: It's either him or Miz for best heel on the roster. He's a Freak of an athlete looks & talks like an ugly old school heel. It seemed as he was headed into the stratosphere for bit but something de-railed him. If he can get back on the rails, next stop could be Cena nation.

Miz: Currently in the midst of the best work of his career. Miz when from cheap heat to true words that you hate. Heat due to the heel speaking truth is the what separates the heels. People hated Roddy and Flair because every word they spoke was true backed up. I have never watched someone work harder at transforming a bad reputation [fake wrestler reality tv star] to a bonafide superstar as I have with miz.

Finn Balor: By the reaction I see of the crowd when he hits that turnbuckle and throws his hands back, I feel confident enough to call Finn the most popular guy on the roster. That's even without the bodypaint and cool entrance. There's nothing he can't do in the ring and he's a perfect fit for this UK Expansion that's starting.

Bray Wyatt: most captivating character since taker. Being a 2nd generation and surround by nothing but wrestling royalty in his life certainly helps.  If he can keep himself in shape and turn it up consistently in the ring he still has a slim shot at being the guy to cary the ship.

Shinsuke Nakamura: "The Rockstar" May not be the same guy that was tearing down Japan a few years ago but still more charismatic than anyone on the roster. No more popular style in wrestling today then the japanese. With a female counterpart that could carry gold simultaneously, timing seems like it could be on Nakamuras side.

Braun Strowman: The most believable unbeatable monster since Andre. Twice!! they have built him up just to knocked him down. If they get lucky enough where lighting strikes a third time, they should bottle and run with it until the monsters legs fall off.

Big Cass: Something tells me they still have a soft spot for this guy. I don't see him being in the class listed above....... that's exactly why it wouldn't surprise me.

Brock: I mean why not right? He retires the streak and John Cena. It's just a classic WWE move. Have the biggest marketable well-known name take down the biggest win of all-time.

Major NJPW show in the U.S. SOON!!!

NJPW is holding the hand to go
ALL IN with

Right now NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) is taping up their hands before putting the gloves on to throw the first haymaker at WWE since Hogan dropping the loudest leg drop in wrestling history at Bash at the Beach.
Since the partnership with ROH (Ring of Honor) in 2014, they have partnered with other organizations, landed themselves TV deals and made Wrestle Kingdom the second most anticipated show of the year.
After the ROH deal they partner with GFW (Global Force Wrestling) to land multi-year TV deals with AXIS  & Asahi, enabling them to air a weekly show and Wrestle Kingdom in 4 part series. In december '14 NJPW & Asahi announce NJPW World, a world wide streaming site for the promotions events.
July 2015 "New IWGP Conception" (a global expansion strategy centered on partnerships with CMLL, GFW, ROH, RPW, wXw and NWA) is announced. They will be holding more shows in Thailand, Singapore & Taiwan. This starts talks of the company going public in 5 years which would be 2020.
Fast forward to 2017. The G1 special in Long Beach, California... this was the first independently produced show in the U.S. The winner would be crowned with the newest title of the organization the  IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. The inaugural champion Kenny Omega (the most high profile U.S. independent talent) was crowned. 11 days after Omega gets the belt came the announcement of a U.S. Dojo opening by 2018 in Los Angeles, making LA their unofficial United States base.
Three years in, they have a United States title, A L.A. base, cable TV exposure and a streaming service. They have changed their contracts to only multi year deals which hasn't been done since the 1980's.
New president of NJPW Harold Meij; (former Senior VP of Coca-Cola Japan and COO of Takara Tomy) seems to have big marketing plans in place. I believe in the next 5 years he will have marketed his brand so well globally that NJPW will run a show equivalent to Wrestle Kingdom in the United States.
Cody and the Bucks just dropped a bomb on the wrestling world by selling out in under an hour. This shows that the wrestling world outside the walls of the WWE is thriving. There is a bigger demographic begging for real competition to come along then people may think.  NJPW stars will be apart of this show, with the funding and exposure they have created in the last few years it shows that they can go all in as well. Cody just did it short stacked holding a 2-7 off suit, NJPW is holding pocket aces.

Just starting out

Not have the fantasy draft you wanted? Didn't get the pitching staff you mock drafted a million times because a guy in your league decided to draft pitchers with his first six picks? That happened to me and by using the wavier wire and picking up the right probable pitching against the right teams. I not only found a couple gems in the month of April, I also have the best pitching stats in the league so far. The main purpose of this blog is to help anyone who wants it in the same position as myself. This is my first time attempting anything like this so please give any feedback on the blog to help it run smoother.
